Historical average is 10%+, which would provide roughly $2.7 million for a baby born today. Eventually, this would eliminate the need for soc sec tax, and would only cost $18 Billion a year instead of several trillion a year being deposited into the trust.

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on.
