Paid leave (parental, vacation) you get full pay, bonus, NAP, benefits.
No, in North America, I believe that anything that you’re on paid time for (like vacation and parental leave), you’d count towards bonus and profit sharing (NAP) accrual. So if you take an unpaid LOA, it pro rates, but otherwise, you’re set to get the full annual bonus
This is awesome.
2w to 3m i doubt it. Half a year? Yeah probably
At D, it really depends on your performance for the rest of the year. I only worked part of the year in 2021 and got a full bonus (not prorated) because I had “Exceptional” ratings. Anecdotally, I know other folks who’ve gotten smaller bonuses after leave and gotten the “it’s prorated” talk, but I think it’s more likely they had average ratings and the leave was an easy excuse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ D’s leave is up to 24 weeks (including short-term disability for birth mothers, parental leave, and any PTO you tack on).
Not how it works at Bain. You get full bonus for paid leave.
Bonuses are a significant part of comp at Bain at the time folks are having kids, so if they took that from you, you’d be taking a huge pay cut.
