Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Any Tableau SEs able to share some insights?
I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

I average 1-2 demos per week and POC usually takes about 1-2 weeks of work.
Average deal size $250k.

My company/SE team was going through a similar period up until this calendar year (though the load on us is still kinda crazy)- I can’t imagine managing 45 accounts on top of that as a TAM though. That’s insane.
So, yeah. Sounds very familiar unfortunately. 😒. Companies tend to hire AEs more aggressively than SEs from what I’ve seen.
Yeah I didn’t think that was normal, looking to exit where feasible.
I’m typically doing 3-5 demos a week. POCs can vary. I just wrapped up a 7 month POC that was supposed to be 6 weeks. But I’m a specialist. Core SEs do 1-2 demos a month.
O had this volume at one point and still haven't recovered. It's usually a sign a company is desperate (to stay afloat or maximize numbers prior to a funding/exit event)
