I'm in forensics with a top 10 firm. If the position is senior manager and above, you will be expected to find clients and bring in new projects. You will have a sales goal. If you have no experience with that, especially with a firm job experience, it could be tough.
That's so niche. I only worked on a few projects related to healthcare. If you have good connections in the industry like hospitals, insurance, pharma companies or doctors, go for it. From what I see, not a lot of people are experienced in this, you may just stand out.
I’m not in forensics, but I have done some research because I do find it really interesting and something I might want to venture into myself someday. Basically it depends on you and what you find interesting. You could be in some challenging or high pressure situation, it can be very tedious work, but it can be a lot of variety in cases and provide some unique challenges.
