“Reflecting on and adopting the use of micro-affirmations would be a positive strategy to prevent microaggressions. Micro-affirmations are small acts that foster inclusion, listening, comfort and support for people who may feel isolated or invisible in their environment. Focus on action, not avoidance – create new good behaviours.”

Best thing you can do is cut out sugar. Much worse for you than red meat. Also make sure you reduce carbs. Sugar and carbs are what makes America fat. You can eat red meat. I just wouldn’t eat it every day, rotate your main protein red meat, white meat, beans, etc. switching to a leaner grass fed beef is better for you to.
Pwc2 nailed it.

I have been trying to reduce meat consumption over all. The big thing for me is I don't like the idea of substitutes. Yeah, you can get a turkey burger. But if you say burger and your brain goes to a nice juicy medium beef burger... you set yourself up for disappointment.
Focus on incorporating iron-rich meals (e.g. spinach salads) and foods with a nice meaty taste (black beans) without saying it's a substitute. It's not. There are lots of ways to cook healthy without spending all day in the kitchen too. Good luck!
Totally agree re substitutes. Very annoying when people say “just replace X with Y! It tastes exactly as good!” No, friend, it does not. I wanted a meatball parm grinder. These two slices of turkey on a low-carb wrap are not scratching that itch.

Stop eating red meat. Made a huge difference for me.
Different approach - ate keto and dropped cholesterol by 50 points

You should aim for zero cholesterol. Eat only ice. Once a month you may walk past a McDonald's to smell the exhaust from the frier.

Take 2 plant sterols a day. These things help and no side effects

The lab report tells you the normal value. Over 6 months, I would aim to get halfway there. I would aim to eat oatmeal at least twice a week, reduce red meat to half, and one serving of veggies at the start of lunch and dinner. Oatmeal cookies don't count, and potatoes are not a veggie!
Good luck.
Cut down red meat is important but so is eliminating sugar and simple carbs.
Yes this because ime too many carbs changes the way your body demands and stores this cholesterol. During periods where I have done strict keto, my cholesterol was never better.
Eat more veggies, fruit, nuts, and fish. Less red meat or meat, oily food in general.
With the exception of burgers, you can swap turkey and beef in tacos, etc and won’t even notice the difference. A turkey burger with cranberry and feta is phenomenal, but not to be confused with a good beef bacon cheeseburger.
Reduce meat intake (red and white) and eat lots of beans instead
Idk about you but chicken is pretty damn tasty bro. Just grilled not fried.

183 total cholesterol is not high. But yes cut back on the red meat.
Red meat is not the problem lol. Steak is one of the most nutritious things you can eat. I would investigate the other areas of your diet before simply cutting out red meat
