"The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat" by Oliver sacks.

like

Harry Potter. All of them.

Go Dog! Go! Interesting read, although the main character doesn't like most hats. Great party scene at the end.

like

Boys in the Boat, anything by David Sedaris, Outliers

like

Hmm meets two of the three categories as it's part fiction and part fact - been reading Alex Rutherford 's Moghul series.

like

The Glass Castle. Chicks dig it

like

Agree with db1 boys in the boat was a great read. Just finished it.

like

Does anyone else find the above comment suggestive?

like

Seven Summits by Dick Bass and Frank Wells; Four plays of Aristophanes; the Five Dialogues by Plato; The Snowball by Alice Schroeder

I rowed for eight years in HS and college and can not get into boys in the boat. I haven't gotten past the first fifty pages any of the three times I've started it. I've been all about Tacitus' annals recently.

Not sure if this is widespread knowledge, but wanted to share that you can get LinkedIn Learning for free with a Philadelphia Free Library Card.

Don’t even have to go in person. Can sign up for a library card online and access LinkedIn Learning right away. And any PA resident can get a Philadelphia library card, you do not need to be a city resident.

I failed CFA level 3 once.

I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.

While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.

Any suggestions as to what I should start with?
