I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

OP: if I passed the CPA exams, I have no doubt that you, or anyone else for that matter, can pass them. The secret is to strategize. Here is what I did and worked. I prepared my self to not have any social life for six months. I studied every minute I was not busy with work or family, I studied not to score 75 in each exam but to score 110. Some would say that this I over studied but I wanted to build in enough cushion so I would NEVER have to open each of those book again. You just have to put your mind to it. Result: passed all 4 exams in a little bit less than 5 months. JUST DOOOO IT!!!!!!!!! Good luck
^ This is the way.
Sometimes I come across a client that makes me say “if this idiot is a CPA, literally anyone can pass the exam.” So yes. 😂
Edit: obviously “literally anyone” is the wrong view, but still.
I think so. Some will need to put more time than others. Just finding the time can be the hardest part
Not every CPA is smart, but every candidate who actually studies hard and fails is an idiot. You can miss almost half the questions and still pass.
I’ve always gotten high performer marks on my reviews but the exams were a huge struggle for me.
Lol those tests have a pretty high pass rate, especially considering you can just take them over and over

I wouldn’t say the pass rate is really that high. But it can still be passed by most if they just put in the effort and don’t give up. It isn’t an intelligence test

Yes, some will have to put in a lot more work than others though. It’s really more of a test of endurance/will than knowledge.
Yeah but I feel like luck also plays a role, especially getting 75s
