Correct way to record time? I travel for my engagements but it seems if you’re traveling, it counts against your total billable time. I just think that’s weird. Am I doing this right?

Unless you’re sitting on your sofa watching tv you’re working. Billable or not record it!

Work on the flight. We have a non-billable code for travel that they take into account

like

I used to think that too but it doesn't. Make sure you log travel / excess travel time as they count towards your hours over standard, if that's counted at your firm.

like

There should be a way to record travel time separately. But I generally work on flights so most of my travel time is billable anyway

like

Who has time to count all that ish up when it doesn't actually matter

like

How about if you are driving for 4 hours one way 🙄🙄🙄

like

Wait p1 we count that?

If you’re working on the flight then that’s billable.

@EY2 I will not believe that you are working AND driving during those 4 hours. But I was told those hours actually count against your utilization
