Not really. I recently had a low performing junior staff interview and get hired by Deloitte.
The prestige of consulting itself is tanking so I think the difference between firms is less important than previous years

The term consulting no longer mean anything.
We have freshers out of college calling themselves consultants and they have a hard time even ordering the team lunch/dinner.
LEK should be on there!

I’m honestly more surprised that Deloitte in general surpassed Strategy&, EYP. But they pay more lol. Would be curious now to compare these “prestige” rankings to where it counts: comp

I’m surprised Booz is behind Deloitte, frankly.
But I don’t think any of these rankings matter. No one really cares. You get paid and you go home.
I can say that prestige consulting matters a lot if you have very little experience. The more years of experience you have the less any specific brand matters. Go where you’ll get paid the most and don’t look back. Who cares what their pressed ranking is
"Consulting" has 0 prestige, so the differences in prestige between firms should be the least of your worries.

What I found amusing was that, despise how much LEK people project about their firm’s prestige/on par with MBB and not “too bad” hours, they’re not even on this list. How amusing 😂
Generally speaking though, interesting as it is, very few people outside our industry care.
Moreso in consulting, lot of projecting of folks whom, let’s call a spade a spade, have zero social acumen outside their industry.
Also curious on Booze, in particular given even more of their federal work was gutted than ours during the days of those DOGE animals running roughshod.
Everyone knows that Booz is a body shop.
