Yes it is possible as you wrap up your S3 year, generally speaking, unlikely before that. Im also increasingly seeing S4s and some S5s these days (at least in advisory).
@ey2 why do you think that is that you’re increasingly seeing s4 and s5 in advisory?? I’m in advisory
Maybe "increasingly" isn't the right word because I might not have enough historical knowledge for a real basis of comparison. Just seems like the people I'm putting up for promotion and those that I know are in the pipeline are already S4s and S5s.
I'm just one person and I've only worked for EY for about 4 years. Experienced hire and at my prior consulting company, it was was 3 years at S level before Mgr (was for me anyway) back then.
