One of my out of state REs is suggesting that birth control for three weeks before having starting a cycle. I consulted with another RE previously and he noted that he doesn’t recommend birth control for too long when planning an ivf cycle since it can impact response to fertility medication. Does this sound right ?

Is it crazy to switch a job while undergoing IVF?
I’ve been in my current role for almost 4 years. While I am generally happy, & have flexibility with time off for personal matters, there are things that bother me. I have an offer for way more money, manager title (which I want), much larger bonus & IVF benefit is better. However, I’m in the middle of stims and it is STRESSFUL. Part of me can’t imagine taking on a new role while I’m in the middle of this. But also feel like I can’t pass it up

Anyone here adopt a puppy during the infertility struggle? Husband and I considering it to have something positive throughout this situation and thinking the extra companionship would be helpful. I work from home. Husband has had many family dogs and lots of experience with it, I’ve had a family cat before. Husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. His semen analysis came back all normal with the exception of morphology at 1% (Kruger Strict criteria). Anyone have insights into morphology and it’s impacts on fertility? From what I’ve read and after talking to our fertility specialist morphology seems subjective.

First round of Provera and Letrozole complete but I’ve been spotting/bleeding for 11 days after taking the Provera to kick start a cycle. Would love to hear others’ experiences with these pills!

I feel so bad. Almost 30..pcos/no ovulation/high testost/anovulatory/cysts. Lean but unhealthy. I’m talking low iron (14 I found out today),low all vitamins, prediabetic..phew! I have been married for 3 years. We have been trying to have a baby and found out my husband is shooting blanks and requires surgery to possibly resolve that. Recovery is 4 weeks and he refused. He is also not open to adopting or fostering or using someone else’s sperm. What do I do now?

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?
