Honestly MBA is all about network and finding a job upon graduation. Networking doesn’t mean “be social all the time”. Classrooms, homework sessions, projects, club events, actual networking events are all considered great opps for networking and having friends.
I would primarily focus on landing an internship/job then the second priority would be networking/friendships and third priority would be school work (keep a gpa above 3.3 and no one’s gonna care otherwise. Very easy gpa to achieve in an MBA)
Nothing wrong to be social with the MBA cohort as long it does not start affecting your work. And of course, don’t expect to be a friend of everyone.
You can try but won’t succeed in that attempt.
