So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

To those who work insane hours & their partners- My husband works constantly, 18hr days 7 days/wk. It’s for his own business so he’s getting his return but I can tell he’s so exhausted. I work a lot of hours too but not like him. We often miss out on friend time and he can’t escape mentally for anything. How have others been able to navigate this? I want to be supportive but I miss him and worry about him. Do we just keep suffering until early retirement?

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid."
