Do you think finance mainly consists of professionals who consider themselves “elitist”? Some of my coworkers seem to stick their nose up at others because of their title, where they went to school, and who their parents are. It’s a major turnoff for me.

Yes they do & it’s insane because once they get a little older they realize none of it matters & that life is short, death is near & they spent their whole life looking down on others or thinking they are above & that they will have to stand in front of god and be held accountable

No one, no matter their title, status, parents, schooling, etc... should look down on someone else! Not everyone has the same upbringing, or opportunities. People need to be kind!

Duh... just the concept that they claim to build "models" which are just excel spreadsheets gives the game away immediately. But it makes the $$$ lol

They do and it’s hilarious. What’s crazy now is there is arguably more money to be made in tech and that attitude still exists.

If an employee mentions something disparaging or accusatory about their manager during an exit interview, how would you handle? What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? I.e. employee claimed the manager made a disparaging remark about an item of clothing being worn by someone in accordance with their beliefs. If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?
