does 1-2% raises seem accurate for someone who is managing companies largest profits and making largest profit margins? Last couple years have not seen more than 2% which is not keeping up with inflation. prior to that was a large bump due to promotion annd before that it was always +5% yearly minimum and now it seems like it’s just all stalled.

Which of the following would you go for: 1) MBB, specialist role in a sector I’m indifferent to; $145k total comp with potential for promotion to post MBA level in January; business school sponsorship iffy (recruiter said generally no but has seen it in select situations); 2) stay at current T2 firm, guaranteed to be post MBA level in fall; $170k base + historically ~5-10% bonus; firm has seen huge attrition; technically a generalist but get staffed most of the time in the same sector as MBB job

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise.
