I used to do it for religious reasons and now I just sorta do it sunrise to sunset tuesdays and thursdays. I've been doing so for a while so it feels normal, and since it started from religon/my mum is doing it, I guess the motivation is just routine and willpower? Idk man I'm guessing you just remind yourself the first few times that it's normal to feel the way you do and you're not going to die from not eating 12ish hours and are an adult who can handle discomfort,,, and then you get used to it.
Yea my family also fasts regularly for religious reasons. I have seen the grain free & also no food fasts. I never bothered but now I think it would be healthy for once a week. Jw how others maintain it and what they eat/don’t eat.
Yes eat within a 7 hour window and don’t eat outside of that window (except for coffee, small portion of peanuts, or blueberries
That’s intermittent fasting. I mean just general fasting
Muslim so when I fast, I do sunrise to sunset. Need to eat a healthy balanced meal before it and drink lots of water. But with this type of fasting, you can’t eat or drink anything before sunset.
Reason I’m looking into this now is mainly for health benefits
