There are lot of mixed reviews about Nagarro.. some folks are saying Nagarro do not fire even in covid the only did the pay cuts and did not fire anyone... where as some folks are saying Nagarro is hiring rigorously more than their projects strength so firing will happen for sure and if you are on bench for more than 1 month you are in red zone as the same happened in past... what is the mystery.. can anyone from Nagarro an honest review about this organization.

Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Why would teens helping seniors be disturbing? I think it’s great.
Yeah....things should definitely be easier.
I’m not a teen but in my mid-20’s. I’ve gotten over 100 people appointments that otherwise would not have been able to. The process may be setting up older people to fail but it’s great that people are helping out
👏 thanks for doing that

What is potentially disturbing about this?
D2 my parents (over 60) signed up the first day available online and got an appointment 3 weeks later (still waiting). Friend who is 40 got an appointment the following day. Meanwhile people can call friends at the pharmacy and elsewhere and get hooked up. There is no semblance of prioritization.
I keep an eye on vaccination locations and let my family, friends, coworkers know when there are openings... am I disturbing

My sorority sisters do this in our group chat and it’s so helpful 🤣 I remain undisturbed
Why would this disturb me?

You should be searching for reasons to be disturbed and/or angry.
It very much disturbs me that you potentially find this disturbing.
This just emphasizes how some states, especially Maryland, completely botched the rollout of vaccinations. It should not be this hard.

Maybe having socially responsible teens is part of the system too? Happy for these young people proactively taking part in addressing a real gap.
Nope not at all! Did this for some friends and family
I think half of this thread is misinterpreting OP. Think it’s meant that people needing to volunteer to find vaccines is distributing. I agree. We shouldn’t live in a system that all people can’t access things the same. I’m in NY trying to get appointments for my parents and it’s insanely hard. And yes I’ve tried all the methods - logging on at midnight. Calling pharmacies etc. I’m exhausted and I’m sure seniors are too. Get out of your privilege bubbles folks.
Boomers: Milennials are killing the medical receptionist industry!
(Yes, I know that today's teenagers are Gen Z...)
I think it’s wonderful.

It’s disturbing that the system isn’t set up in a way that seniors who don’t have access to volunteers can still get appointments by themselves. I think the UK assigned appointments to the elderly and they just had to show up when scheduled.
I don’t think people understand that no matter how technologically “easy” the process might be made some older folks, especially immigrants or lower income folks, are simply not technologically savvy enough. Y’all need to get out of your bubbles. I applaud anyone who tries to help someone else get their vaccine.
I did this for my parents. It’s disturbing that the system is the way it is, but it’s encouraging that people are stepping up to help others.
I think they’re disturbed that old people need help, and aren’t just easily getting it.

OP - you good?
Read through this whole thread and didn’t see one Kommunity Kidz reference.
Can only hope the kids are helping get the vaccines for the elderly and not for some other nefarious purpose...

It’s sad that it’s needed but no I don’t find it disturbing that teens are stepping in to help. My 68 year old dad is relatively computer literate and can’t find a vaccine in the Chicago area. I’ve been “hunting” for him and also not having much luck. He is starting to panic because IL is about to open vaccinations up for all adults.
