Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

I made it to the third round of interviews and was meeting with the head of the accounts department. He asked me if I'm proficient in Excel (often used in my role), to which I replied, "ugh, no... numbers are the worst, am I right?"
I was not right.
Very early on in my career I interviewed with a beer client. When asked if I drank beer, I somehow replied, "No, but I'm really good at beer pong!" My brain couldn't even believe what had just come out of my mouth! It's literally all I thought about for days; I couldn't stop kicking myself over it. Needless to say, I managed to get the job! 😂🍻
The interviewer asked me to describe myself using an emoji. I acted out the 💁🏻 emoji. I've been at the company for three years now 😂
Somewhat related. A recruiter sent me a copywriter's portfolio to review. He included a great website—that I had written the year before.
I got hit on while interviewing someone. I obviously hired them.
When they told me what the pay was, I said, "How is anyone expected to live off that?" I still got the job. And the shitty pay. (I've since moved on.)
Also, feel free to share a dumb or embarrassing thing someone you interviewed said and if you offered them the job.
Actually Insulted the managing directors favorite fashion campaign. Was garbage. Silly celebrity endorsement knock off of a 90s campaign. Hugely commercially successful, but obvious crap. He had a photo from the campaign on his desk:). I've not been called, but I noticed the guy browsing my LinkedIn profile on more than one occasion.
When I was graduating college I skipped an interview because I wasn't interested. Got a call the next day saying they were very impressed with me and offered me the position. I graciously declined.
I once did a 20 min phone interview without knowing who I was interviewing for. I got to the next round of interviews, but didn't end up getting the job.
The question was "what book are you reading right now?" And I answered "The Men on My Couch" cause I was indeed reading that. I guess it sounded dirty cause the guy raised his eyebrow. It's just a book about psychology. Anyway, I did get the job
"Last night was fun, thank you."
Was asked what my dream job was.. said it was to get to be the person who comes up with the names for nail polish colors...
👆🏻How is that even possible?
Had a guy tell me unprompted that he's really into guns and shooting things. Made me a bit uncomfortable as they also behaved Patrick Bateman esque
@AAE1 you said you've moved on but it says you're an AAE so what was the previous job? (Not judging. Purely curious as I'm also in an entry level job)
Many years ago: "What's an IPO?" I didn't get the job.
Not words, but I sweat. Profusely. Still happens sometimes. Take a temporary anti-anxiety pill before and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't think it's kept me back though? Or maybe I get the offer because they feel bad for me? 🤔
