You're allocated a certain amount (depending on city) per day. For example, Accenture is typically on the low side so expect around $40-$50 per day. When you do your T&E you just select per diem and you get that amount no matter now much you spend. So you can either eat cheap and pocket the rest, or try to stay around the per diem and you cover anything that goes over. I only use my personal card for meals because everything you put on your Amex automatically can get loaded into T&E and I'd rather not see meal expenses there.
Yes. They track it cause Accenture pays the interest. Part of being a good business operator. I had two councilees that were getting good ratings but got docked down one rating due to it. It's viewed like not taking your required training.
That's ridiculously low... I average close to $10k/mo when traveling
Is it a gold, green or plat card? Those don't have limits they're charge cards. Not credit cards
No limit, charge card. Calm down noobie
Certainly don't need more than 8k, just thought this was odd because while I don't have great credit I certainly am above average
I can't answer cause I rarely travel but do not be embarrassed at all. Not worth even one second of that. Besides in a firm our size no one will know or care.
No limit. You should reach out to HR and Amex. No need to be embarrassed.
A4 I apologize in advance if you think I sound stupid but can you elaborate on the per diem thing
Lol
I haven't used my corporate card in the year and a half since I started. Nobody cares.
I charge everything on my Chase Sapphire Reserve. #chasingdospointz
Maybe they want you to have options if you need to be international? No idea.
Yes I know I'm going to look more into this, got the name of the person in charge at acn. Not sure if I should be embarrassed
Can my acn colleagues please confirm this is odd or normal since I'm new at the firm?
Well that's what it says and Amex confirmed the limit. And it's gold. Trust me bro I'm as perplexed as you are
OP you don't pay airfare directly
Acn peeps on this thread, can you confirm if you have a spending limit on your card or is it just me? This has hurt my ego and I'm going to get to the bottom of it lol.
