If I charge over 40 hours, I don't take a vacation day. No one cares as long as you get your stuff done
Depends on your level. I get 22 but I'm a SM. Not sure what everyone else gets. We also get 3 personal days and unlimited sick time although that's kind of worthless considering you work from home when you're sick unless you are like knocked out sick. Use that mostly for doctor appts. You can also buy another week of vacation, but that is dumb.
@op since you posted, just wondering if you utilized the unlimited since studies show companies with unlimited end up taking less. Just curious
Even with FTO I keep track of how many days I take off so it typically won't exceed the legacy amount. But it's really helpful on days that you don't have a scheduled Vacay but are slow enough at work to just take the day off without worrying about using from a fixed pool of time off
15 vaca, 3 personal, "unlimited" sick (you get flagged if you take 10 or more in a year, and if you take 3 or more in a row. Could be asked for a note or support or some bullshit). I think you can purchase another two weeks, but I never did so probably not the right guy. You can also go up to 80hrs negative (not per year, hardline total) it only affects you if you leave while negative. This was for me as a staff at least
Senior, 15 days plus the 3 personal days. I do buy the two weeks and take them too. I've used 3-4 sick days while being hospitalized overnight in my two years here
i came from gt. flex time sucks. ppl so stingy
I'm an associate... Legacy amount was 17/year + firm holidays. Halfway through the year I'm at 19 days + holidays. Probably gonna finish this year at 30. So... I like it. But I definitely realize that my combination of office, service line, and team make it possible and I bet others do end up taking less. But for me, for now, FTO > PTO payout.
