He said "been" as in past tense. When I went from slave 1 to slave 2 that was my rating/raise.

like

Staff 1s are in 10 Degrees...you don't get a real rating.

like

And the raises are the same across the board for those in 10 Degrees.

I think in our service line (niche) it was 12, 16, 20 last year for 3, 4, and 5 rating. I think audit was 8, 11, 14. Northeast region

like

July starts from 2016 aren't on the 10 degree program

7% NYC tax

like

My first year was 11% and was rated 4 - SW

like

7.5% 10% 15% for 3, 4, 5 the bay area in 2013.

like

6%. 4 rating. Low COLM

3 rating, 6% raise southwest region

10.5% last year in LA

What about for senior 1 to 2, in southeast?

Lmao @ EY1

I'm not in 10 Degrees.

Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now? It seems the job market is cooling a bit and I might lose some leverage if I wait longer to bring this up, in case the economy turns for the worse. But it being June now just makes timing a bit awkward and worried it might come off negatively/too self serving

I have worked for a firm for 10 years. Waited for an AVP (through a promotion) 5 years in (even though doing the work since being hired). I see staff getting VP. And SVP all around me. Manager (in my review) stated he didn’t give it much thought when I asked if I’d be considered for a VP ever. Meanwhile, I report directly to him and work independently. Some work I do there are other VPs who have worked on same. What does it take to get a VP, etc? Years of service?

Im in my second year of being a Site Manager, in total control of all operations on site.

Got my raise for the year, 5%. Everybody in the business got a raise of 5%, from the bottom to the top.

Next review is due July 2023. Can’t help but feel my raise should have reflected me being one year more experienced. Im a high performer so I’m annoyed that I’m still on 2-3k per year less than my job is advertised at by recruiters.

Is it worth having a moan/chat for the sake of 2-3k per annum????

From PwC bowl. I don’t think this is a widespread thing but want to unpack the idea of it. PwC is certainly looking at staff utilization for black employees to make sure they are getting put on jobs but that doesn’t mean better jobs. There are no saved opps for minorities, like wtf. And early promotion is definitely not a thing but could naturally happen when given more opportunity. It is insane to me that someone already privileged would even think of doing this to maintain their privilege.

Annual review coming up. What’s the best way to ask for a raise or show you’re ready to be promoted? (Continued)

SC to M, promotion in CBO.

I was promoted to SC in Aug 2020, and milestone year shows 2024 (4 years).

Is this normal I thought SC-M was 3 years and 2 for an early promo.

Can anyone suggest if it's even possible to try to get promoted in 2 years? Just don't want to put in extra effort and getting disappointed later.
