First year with D advisory in a fairly new service area, and a new group. Staffed, but not being utilized most of the time (50-60% utilization) going into YE. How worried should I be?

During initial onboarding with the firm, does the first week or so count towards utilization or is there somewhat of a grace period?

When my recruiter says I’ll have “144 hours” of PTO (18 days), will I definitely still run into the utilization trap of not being able to take it? Are all projects 40-42 hr weekly caps? Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some.
