So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

How do people afford to buy $1M houses in Chicago? Surely not everyone buying them is rich (which is somewhat of a subjective term). My wife and I are 30 and have a combined income of almost $300k and trying to buy something that expensive seems asinine yet people do it. Am I missing something?

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.

Now I am deducting about $500 from their deposit of $2150, and he is threatening me that “his attorney will be moving forward and pursue every legal right he has as a tenant enforcing the RLTO”.. am I at wrong here? But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Howdy Sales Fishes - I’ve got an interview coming up and the recruiter prepared me by sharing that the interviewer may be low energy intentionally. Does any have a best practice for tactfully responding to this behavior or should I just persevere?
