Sock golf. Roll up socks, get creative with the house. Plastic clubs are best but a normal wedge with your door mat as each tee box should work.
Should be young enough to just make stuff up
Memory card games, trike, remote cars
Building blocks (not the small Lego ones)
We played a little soccer here and there. Some educational flashcards and a little singing and dancing don’t hurt as well
Build an obstacle course with your furniture or a floor is lava type set up. I did that for my son during the early days of the pandemic (he was around 3 at that time) and he loved it
I have 4 kids and this search for new activities never ends. Took mine to the library this morning. We have a few local libraries with toys for little kids. Children’s museums too. Movie theatre matinee. Bowling with bumpers. Pick out a toy at target. Shopping at a new store they’ve never been to before, we just went to a new supermarket. Make pizza or cookies together. Go fish. Old maid. Shut the box. Battleship. Get on the floor with him, he’ll be happy anything if you’re down there with him.
Bundle up and walk in the woods with walking sticks. I don’t mind going to the zoo in this weather because it’s not crowded and it’s 1/3 inside anyways. Legos together. I hate arts and crafts because of the cleanup but arts and crafts.
