How do you all role out your ERG
Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

You are setting your self for failure but it does not mean you will fail. Just face this as the biggest career challenge so far in your career and failure is not an option. You got this.
Trust yourself :) if it doesn’t work out, try another firm.
30% pay bump is hard to pass up and if you want partner and don’t think you will get it where you are then you need to leave.
But...
1) They know your a first year manager and if they are offering you a senior manager role what does this say about the company? You will be operating as a first year manager (experienced senior most of the time in reality because I assume they will be short staffed) regardless.
2) Making partner is about relationships - you are probably at least 5-8 years away from partner if you are a first year manager so you probably have time to catch up. Just know everyone that has been at the new firm has those relationships and you will need to work on this a ton if you want to become partner.
If you know your tax technical, are good at relationship building, and can bring in revenue nothing really matters.
Why do you want to go to one national firm to another? Just to get an SM promotion?
Would it be a pay raise?
Why do you want to leave your current firm?
I mean honestly he only way to get a true pay raise anywhere, you have to jump a few times. Just the way it is
Do it. Worst case, it doesn’t work and you have to move to another national firm- there are many
I am not following why you think you are potentially failing?
Well I am in audit so only speaking audit. I personally felt like audit manager and early SM is not that different in terms of role so I would not think too much into this
Not certain there is that much difference between SM and manager. You should be transitioned in and that will help.
