Hello! Currently with KPMG Australia in their human capital advisory function, as a Senior Consultant. I have been offered a tempting role with Accenture’s human capital advisory function as an Associate Manager with a 15K salary bump and enticing bonus structure. I am struggling to decide whether to take it or stay for a potential promotion to Manager next July. Needing guidance on which one is smarter for me, career development wise. Thanks

You’re being offered the associate manager position right now (with the new comp). The promotion in July could never end up happening, no matter how confident you are that you’ll get it. I would take the offer.

like

It depends what you’re looking for. If the money attracts you go with the offer because I agree that it’s not 100% sure the promotion will happen. If you love your company right now and feel good with them: stay!
Mainly listen to your gut, that guy will give you the answer!

Hello All,

Have a few questions regarding IBM Joining, HR response is strangely lacking and so does in the slack(prejoin channels). Hoping can be cleared here..
a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
b) HR Informed,"After onboarding is complete, can get perm WFH based on project or extension of WFH as IBM is flexible"
Is this true? Can managers extend/grant remote for a month then let us transit to remote model?

Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review.
