Hello everyone!

I've been doing Inside Sales for about 4 years now and I was wondering how can I transition in to the Mid-Market to Enterprise Account Executive role? I'm ready for a new challenge and a change of pace!

Start talking to appropriate stakeholders such as your manager and the hiring manager. Update your CV, talent card and be prepared for questions on for an example why you want to move and what you can bring to the table. There are dozens of questions they may ask you so be prepared and don’t consider it a slam dunk just because you have had four years of experience within inside sales, even if that’s a positive thing it all narrows down to what the hiring manager thinks.

I’ve never met a single good manager in sales that wasn’t delighted when one of their people wanted to do more. Good luck on the conversation, it will go well!

Any nurses here not have hospital experience? I work as a community nurse and have previous experience in an assisted living and clinic. I don’t have much interest in going to the hospital. I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it. I'm now severely burnt out (most of my team is) and not sure which way to go, or how to grow. Any tips/advice?

Thanks!

Interested in everyone’s opinions on replica luxury. I ask because, as noted in the previous thread re: Chanel’s price increases, the quality of authentic luxury bags is going way down while the price increases consistently. Specifically Chanel and LV. I’m fascinated in the online rep community and it looks like rep quality has increased exponentially (with genuine materials and 1:1 markings, stitching, hardware, etc). What’s your argument for or against replicas?

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…
