Hello! I am looking for a Strategic Supply Chain manager position. I am open to relocating anywhere in the south next year, but am required to stay in Pittsburgh this year. I have my MBA with a small focus on Analytics (SQL and Tableau advanced proficiency), 4 years in supply chain as a continuous improvement/project manager, Six Sigma Green Belt, and and currently a mid-level manager managing entry-level managers. I really want to prioritize work life balance with my next role. Thank you!

I have recently received an offer from HSBC for Data Engineer profile. The designation offered is Senior Analyst- Information Management. They said that it is a techno functional role. Does anyone have an idea about what techno functional role actually is in HSBC? Is it more like a Business Analyst? My prior experience is completely in Technical side. Will this role be suitable for me?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Community, I’ve been meeting with a lot of people regarding next steps in my career. One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:
- Agencies you would steer clear from because their leadership micromanages
- Agencies you would recommend because their leadership gives you room to grow

Thx 🙏🏼

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?
