I'm currently awaiting the application window to open to apply for my MSW. I currently am a behavior interventionist at a school and was previously a RBT. I do soccer coaching and soccer refereeing. I want to know or get any advice from the inside on what i can do to get exposure to social work and stay on my toes. I want to be a school based social worker. Any tips, internships/volunteer opportunities in LA area that would boost my experience in social work?

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? Best way to deal with family members who treat you like the family therapist? Over thanksgiving my aunt disclosed some intense stuff to me and asked me for my help/opinion, and it was uncomfortable. I don't feel good saying just don't talk to me about stuff like that, but I also am not paid to give therapy to my own family and the things they tell me put me in weird situations with other family members. Recently received my CSW license and have started working as a therapist at an outpatient clinic. Is a starting salary of $64,500 fair? I am supposed to aim for 28 billing hours (get paid if clients show or not) a week with 12 hours of admin time for other tasks. Thanks for any input.
