Hey all! Would anyone mind running through some practice cases with me this weekend and next week? I have my final interviews for TD&E at EY next week and unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to help me prepare for the case interview :/ I haven’t done a case in 2 years so I’m a little nervous and want to prepare as much as possible

Stupidest thing I ever heard if someone gave you that advice. What matters is whether your are growing, getting exposed to new experiences and doing good work. Whether that's for 2 years or 10 is not relevant. Firms like PwC are good for giving many opportunities to be exposed to lots of things
I wouldn't think that way. I would think staying at the same position /title for 5 years looks bad, which is not your case. Seems you are in a good career trajectory, wouldn't worry too much.
Wanted to work as a manager outside the US. Come back and do EB1.
1.5 years before I get my 140. Basically I would have stayed at the firm a solid 5+ years. Is staying at a firm that long considered being a sucker?
My question really is, is staying at a firm that long bad? Someone at happy hour told me; that the firm starts seeing you as a sucker. (this is coming from a director)
Why apply so late?
Ah - makes sense. It's really a personal choice. Not sure what answer you are looking for.
Op - doesn't one need to be a manager outside the US for at least a year to be eligible for EB1? If you just made manager, and were outside as an SA, does that still qualify you for EB1?
Nah I am outside now. Will come back in 10 months or so and then apply. Which means I won’t be leaving for at least until I get my I 140.
Okay Dude half the people that come up with these ideas/stereotypes don't know anything about the VISA process. If a greencard is your first priority then do anything you need to do to make it happen (while moving your career forward ofc). Focus on whatever your long term goal is and screw the rest.
Staying at an employer long term is not inherently a bad thing if you like what you do and are satisfied with your compensation.
Some of the best folks I’ve worked with at both my own employers and at clients were those there a long time as they generally were good enough performers to not get pushed out and often were authorities on how to get things done because their internal networks were very strong.
