Hey EY fish, I would appreciate your thoughts on my situation. I recently received an offer through the MBA pipeline this recruiting cycle and recruiters mentioned the start date would likely be in the fall.

My wife is a travel advisor and we have an opportunity to go on a luxury safari in Africa September 28 through October 9, but I am worried it could overlap with a potential start date. I have also seen posts about EY pushing start dates in recent years.

Is this likely this year too?

Is there any way to travel or live internationally while working for the US government? I’m working in finance and accounting. Would love to know how and where.

Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

I have no plans in leaving PA anytime soon but I figure maybe I should look into another certification that holds value and makes me more marketable compared to my peers. Appreciate any thoughts and advice.
