Hey! I sometimes contemplate how my career in consulting fits in to my God-given purpose. I try to listen to where the Holy Spirit leads me and directs my path, and I do believe I am meant to be where I am. But the nature of the work we do sometimes makes me question if this is where I can have the most impact.

Hello. My district is currently remote (virtual) and I am teaching a chemical reactions unit. Usually, this is a hands on unit. I cannot do hands-on labs for equity reasons. My district does not have subscriptions to any science lab simulation sites at the middle school level. We use the NGSS. We are standards based grading and I can only grade the stand MS-PS1-2. Anyone have suggestions on free simulations I can use? I teach synchronously to my students 2 classes (2 hours total ) each week.

How does anyone keep time well for prayer and meditation while fully giving yourself to family and work in this economy?

One can imagine work here as meant in the maximum of work vs life here.

I know people who are constantly crashing and that’s without the set time for prayer. And despite hearts or gold, obvious piety and a high work ethic.
