Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?

Hello Fishes,
I left capegemini on 4th of Feb and I still haven't got my relieving letter as well as experience letter. I'm trying to access my capegemini portal from webvpn.capgemini.com but I'm not able to access that either. Please suggest me what should be done, my next employer is asking for relieving letter.

I just made the switch from a small agency to a big brand and I noticed an uptick in responses after switching to this awesome (and yes, hideous) scannable resume template: https://www.reddit.com/r/jobs/s/OjIgPYG5Ia. With the support of my portfolio, eventually it cut through initial internal recruitment and got me hired.
I also saved my pdf with a file name along the lines of “[first name] [last name] - scannable text resume”, just to provide a bit of subtle suggestion that I was also aware that this thing wasn’t pretty. I had a more eyeball-friendly resume that lived on my portfolio as well, but being a writer I’m sure the aesthetic appeal of my resume wasn’t as important as other roles.
All that said, based on my recent 18 month job hunt, scannable, boring resumes made a world of difference. That Reddit link above is a great asset and definitely worth a read at the very least, even if you decide to put something different together.
Best of luck!
