Hi All, I got an offer from Phreesia (formerly Rayden Interactive) for Implementation Analyst role. I'm hearing that they have hire & fire culture. They are laying off employees without any reason. Any thoughts?

Is it any surprise we’re seeing mass layoff in tech? Years of rich friends hiring rich friends with no work ethic has lead us here. I know way too many tech people who work maybe an hour a day followed by errands and traveling. A lot of getting in these places is who you know, apparently that doesn’t work out like it used to. The amount of people who worked for Meta, Apple, Amazon, etc for a few months / maybe a year is astounding. it’s around that time frame a boss can tell if you’re worth it

Howdy…I need a sanity check! As part of my previous role, I reported security non-compliance and gross security misrepresentations. For my valiant efforts I was laid off (despite being a protected whistleblower) and my reports were buried. Everything I did was in line with my responsibilities. I was extremely concerned that systems housing personal credit data on all US consumers were not adequately protected. I essentially risked my job to protect data and I’m not sure if it mattered.

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐
