Hi Fishes, What kind of work is envolved in ReactJS projects in Nagarro? Is it maintenance or Development From Scratch work. Also is it possible for a UI Developer in Nagarro to take up backend development work along with UI? I am currently working as a full stack Python developer and Got an offer in Nagarro as ReactJS Developer. I would also like to contribute in Backend Development as well. Last Ques 😅 - Mid-Product Organization vs Nagarro, Which one shall I choose for UI Dev role? TIA

I switched to Moss from big 4 as a senior. The hours are still PA hours and there’s still stress, but the culture is a much better fit for me personally. I knew it was time to leave when I tried to set boundaries and seek help with my overloaded schedule to create some sense of balance in my life, and those boundaries/requests for help were completely ignored/disregarded time after time. At Moss I’ve always felt like I was supported in setting boundaries or taking advantage of flexibility if I need to. I was also stressed about the “prestige”, but at the end of the day I just went with a firm that better aligns with my values and still have the big 4 experience on my resume. You’ll still have plenty of exit ops leaving a national/regional firm. I think an important thing to consider is what kind of ops you’re interested in. Are you interested in going to work for a F500? A regional company? That can maybe help you decide if it’s the right time to leave also, and where you’ll be gaining experience relevant to those future goals. If you have any questions or want a referral, feel free to DM me. Good luck!
Agreed. In my experience it seems like Moss Adams really does expect you to use PTO and balance your life compared to other firms (one I’ve worked at and that seems to be the case for other’s previous firms)
I did this and dont regret it
Marcum is a top 12 public accounting firm, but on the smaller side. We have many people that make the move from Big 4, and are very happy. I'm happy to speak with you more if you like.
Same!
If you’re not trying to stay in PA, go to industry/government. If you’re trying to stay in PA, then go to a national/regional firm
Big 4 prestige is worth its weight in gold. I have worked at Grant Thornton , a local firm, industry and now EY. The amount I have learned at EY tops all 4. My CV stands out from the rest because of the size of client EY has. The amount of exit opportunities have doubled because of big 4 status. I would only recomended leaving big 4 if you get an industry offer that’s too good to refuse. WLB was non existent at GT and the smaller firm had it although the exposure was nothing compared to any of the other 3
You have big 4 on your resume. Go see what else is out there. You can always go back or you can leverage your resume to pivot again if it doesn’t work out.
