I try to run every morning or do one of the 8 minute home work outs you can do at home(depends on the time I have)..as soon as I wake up I do a bible study and a 8min meditation it helps me set my mind right before I meet people who may trigger me 🤣🤣…Then after work I’d take a nap for half an hour(or at 5pm regardless of anything I take a nap) I’d also try to meet people on weekends whether it’s working along side each other or just doing something goofy to have some socializing to look forward too. Meal prep may be helpful like take an hour or 2 every Sunday to plan the week so you don’t take out
Also fill the house with only healthy snacks you like so you’re not eating bad all the time.
Force myself to take a full hour break at lunch, and spend at least 10 min of that time outside. For the hour I try not to use my phone or computer so it’s a true break/reset. Do the same around dinner time. Make a ritual of closing your computer (and the door if your home office is in a different room).
Absolutely have to set boundaries between work life and personal life. Try to make a list of things you will commit to continue doing. Making your lunch, going to a weekly workout class, taking walking breaks during the day are all good examples. I also have to get no less than 6 hours of sleep a night. And if my workload doesn’t allow for that, I tell my managers that my well-being is non negotiable and they will need to find someone to help. Have never had any push back.
