Maybe they don’t understand clothes are generally not reworn, showers are taken daily, etc. Think about the entirely different culture they are experiencing.
Do you think saying to wear deodorant solves all hygiene related issues? I get it’s an uncomfortable conversation to have but you already took it upon yourself to start the hygiene conversation.
Put HR on it and they’ll take care of it so you don’t have to.
I guess all of this hinges on everyone smelling ultra clean all day. Most people want to smell good all day long. I know I do. After a few trips to the restroom and actually doing your job (if you have to lift your behind off of your desk chair) everyone smells a little less 💯. It's even worse with folks that feel perfume or cologne fixes that. A lot of people in foreign countries do not use deodorant and usually wash in the coldest temp water to close their pores. A private conversation with her might work. Please smell your personal best.
