I have recently got an offer from EY India in Technology Consultancy. In my offer letter it is mentioned to have 6 months of probation period. I have never seen such probationary in my previous companies. Do EY fire employees during probation period? Or everybody get permanent employment after 6 months? Please help.

Person I know who did it doubled their income. It’s mostly useful for corporate leadership roles.
I think it's worth doing a search on LinkedIn/Indeed to see other people with those qualifications. Personally I think your experience/degree are likely enough, but perhaps the 6 Sigma is worth it if you're going into admin/biz ops?

I have my green belt. My last employer paid for the training, but I never ended up getting to use it in my position. I ended up leaving 4 years later. I would make sure that you are able to utilize it and in your current role. If so, go for it! It’s a great certification to have !
Honestly it is a resume booster that can open many doors by showing companies you have a commitment to process improvement. That’s the case with most certifications, you can have the work experience, but to show that your experience is in line with the gold standard for a given requirement, it’s best to get a certification.
