I am a brand new manager and have worked with senior director on a new engagement. Preparer left in the middle of the busy season so i had to work with brand new staff and myself to get the work done. He knew the staffing situation. He prefers working in office so I have come on Fri/ Sat during the engagement. Obviously with the tight deadline, the engagement was not pleasant. And there was definitely time to adjust his working style too. He trashes on my review and come to the office more often

Looking for some advice here: I work for a client that loves me & I love him back as well. Get along super well with the creative team and we’re like “one team” . However, I am having problems with the management of my agency. I thought of maybe talking with my client about it (the CMO) to see if he pressures the account MDs. Any tips on how to solve this situation?

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)
