Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I would absolutely try to negotiate. Be prepared of course with why, but also be prepared to hear no. Good luck!
I suggest always negotiating. The worst that can happen is that they say no
You absolutely should negotiate for higher. The worst they can do is say no. We have a tendency to feel like we’re being greedy or are unworthy of the increase, when in reality, what you’re asking for is perfectly reasonable. In this day and age most companies only give out annual COLA raises which invariably are below the rate of inflation, so each year you effectively take a pay cut. Always aim for the highest salary up front. Chances are it’s never going to get better in your current role.
Def negotiate
Definitely negotiate! Also— having the market average salary for that kind of role will be helpful if that indicates a salary higher than $60k in your area for Project Admins. They want to remain competitive, and it costs less for them to keep you and pay you a little more than to hire externally.
Have confidence in yourself as you move up, and they’ll meet you in that negotiation.
Absolutely negotiate ! What’s the harm, the worst outcome, they just say no! Good Luck 🍀 to you 👍
