I am currently searching for new opportunities in the Privacy space. I am a licensed attorney with experience working in-house at a global fintech company on their Privacy Legal team.

I am concerned that my junior level (graduated in 2021) is causing me to be passed over for jobs that I am qualified for. It seems like every privacy counsel role is asking for 3+ years of privacy experience.

Should I consider non-attorney roles in the privacy industry?

It's not. Yes.

There are opportunities, tons of opportunities below, above, and adjacent to being Chief Privacy Counsel.

like

Yes consider non-attorney roles. At this stage in your career, getting experience is more important that a title.
