I am feeling really down and lonely recently. I've basically sold my soul to working, and I think it has caused a lot of issues in all of the relationships I have (or had)—both friendships and romantic relationships. I used to have a bustling social life, then COVID happened and no one reaches out to me, and sometimes don't respond when I reach out to them. I'm very shy and making friends doesn't come easy to me. Does anyone have any advice or tough love for me?

Interviewing at a dream company, and right from the first interview the recruiter told me we are way off on salary expectations. This was a little bit expected, as the role is requiring a few years less experience than I have and also in a much cheaper market. They already told me the salary range during this first call, but wondering if they like me enough and I get an offer, how I might approach negotiating for more. I would be making much less than I do now, but it is a dream company.

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.

There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

Getting bullied by people way above my pay grade. Ended up working under a boss from an old shop who didn't like me then either. I have a gut feeling they trying to fire me or ruin me. What do I do?
