Any REIT ETFs that people like?
Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

Exhibit a little tough love when people miss deadlines. You will run into people who just don't respect deadlines because they've been accommodated too much. Make them understand that deadlines matter and if they miss them there will be consequences.
Sounds like either the tools aren't working or the processes need to be revisited. Implement standards and hold your team accountable. We use Monday.com and we have specific standards for each team and they are held accountable, period.
Hi, we are considering moving from Airtable to Monday. How are you finding it? do you manage revenue and procurement in the program as well?
A few questions - How often are you checking in with your team? Is there buy in from them to meet deadlines and bring issues to you ASAP?
Yup same questions and do they really understand the importance of deadlines
Sounds like you have lost alignment with your team. You could go carrot-stick. But you could piss off your team and it will be a nightmare leading them. The one thing that you don’t want to do is institute a practice and force your team to comply.
Here’s what I recommend - 3 simple steps
1 - have a quick one on one with each of your team members and present them with the facts of what you are observing. Delays last minute issues etc. Ask them why that’s the case. Frame the conversation as just wanting clarity, not about pointing fingers. Also the project success means their individual success. So it’s about getting a win for everyone.
2 - have a team workshop on what you all can do to meet project goals and timelines. This is where you agree on practices - weekly meetings, check ins, goal setting, etc. whatever solutions you come up with as a team, you will have a higher chance of compliance.
3- recognize small wins and celebrate often in the beginning. Positive feedback and reinforcement builds habits. This is how you build the foundation of team culture.
Doing this will bring your team back into alignment and make leading your team less stressful and more fun.
I’m in the same boat. Hopefully we’ll figure it out
MC1 is totally correct. I also think it's get easy to become dependent on project management tools. The reality is you have to check in because project management tools only take you so far, but you need to develop efficiency and provide tough life related to deadlines.
How big is the team?
I'm a firm believer in a weekly status meeting where you let everyone go around and say, "here's what I'm currently working on". That gives you an opportunity to identify anything slipping through the cracks and talk milestones.
