The industry is small and it’s easy to burn bridges. I’d suggest just training the replacement since that’s expected with offboarding, and then not looking back once your week is up. They are also still technically paying you until your last day.
agreed — I’d say train whatever you’ll be able to complete in a week within reasonable hours, though. don’t overwork yourself trying to cram it all in a week since it’s definitely not feasible. you gave more than enough time and they should’ve hired strategically.
Can you prove your manager badmouthed you? As in papetrail and not anecdotally or from word of mouth? If so, talk to HR first and then confront your manager about what you know and how you feel about it.
Unfortunately, we don’t even have HR 🙈
