Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hi fishes, How are the projects & future of data science in EY GDS tech consulting? Is it risky to join considering most of the Indian companies are not that good in data science projects outcomes. Some are targetting unrealistic task and applicability of AIML to every unrelevant field. Is it going to be challenging for someone who is from nontech background & joining tech team with not at all software develping experience. Is it possible to cope up with team? Suggestions would help a lot. EY

Sounds like a scam, don't do it
Hard pass on that
That doesn’t seem legal
That’s insane
Why would you ever agree to that? Honestly
They want to see where you are spending money?
Funny, that’s what I think of when I hear “wear many hats”
The justification was merely because I've been out of work for 6 months - but that doesn't seem right. I can happily share payslips from previous employer and even some income tax data if that helps them, but personal bank statements crosses the line. The role does NOT require handling company funds. In the USA it is illegal to ask such a thing: https://www.moneylion.com/learn/can-my-employer-check-my-bank-account/#:~:text=Employers%20have%20the%20right%20to%20ask%20for%20bank,by%20using%20this%20information%20when%20making%20employment-related%20decisions.
Is the position with an investment firm or investment wholesaler? If so, it is not uncommon. I know investment firms watch executives bank accounts and personal investments to make sure everything is on the up and up. The employee is an extension of their business & reputation. If the employee isn't responsible with their money, how can they be trusted with other people's financial interests.
Exactly the answer.
I would ask them why they need them. There’s no amount of money large or small that couldn’t bring on some judgement,
Pulling credit reports are common and usually sufficient to demonstrate your ability to manage your personal finances.
They want to see your earnings and if you were aligned with OTE.
Wow maybe just saying what you said now in those same words.Sometimes these jobs want to much info what's
next your facebook password omg.
wow that is just INSANE and I wouldnt do it
It is not legal for them to ask for this info
If you were out of work for past 6 months I don’t understand why they need to see your bank statement? Were you on unemployment benefits? Could you show that instead?
With my last employer - the background check found companies I had worked for and it showed the gap since the layoff from my last employer - no need for me to show any documentation.
It makes no sense at all in any universe that one should disclose their bank account. They must be utterly nutcase to ask for it. Are you sure they want to see your bank account or your last drawn payslips?
I just went through a background and drug test for starting a new job after taking a year off. Part of the background check that you sign says they can look into your credit. No reason to give your personal checking info, they can pay for a background check if they want to hire you.
