I have a coworker who is usually extremely active on slack and who has all but dropped off recently. They respond to emails at a much slower rate and their replies are shorter. They used to be the fun of the group, but on both group and 1:1 communications they seem very different. I am worried about them/their mental state but I don't know how to reach out. I know they live alone/don't have much family and I realize depression is a really big problem right now.

Any advice on how to tastefully tell your manager that you no longer want to be a charge nurse anymore?
