Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!
Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

It’s not codified nationally and state rules can vary. It’s really up the the employer most of the time.
Are you in the US? If so, there’s no law mandating maternity leave is paid… it’s literally different for every employer and also varies by state.
Example: I’m in TX. My husband works for a small company. They give 0 hours of paid maternity or paternity leave. I work for a large consulting firm, we give 18 weeks paid maternity leave.
We get 12 weeks fully paid. But to be eligible you must have worked here for 12 months.
Maternity, yes. Paternity, no.
Any paid maternity in the US is better than average. Now elsewhere in the world…we lag badly.
I had my kids before I came here so I didn't pay much attention to those benefits specifically. What I can say though when I was working and went on maternity leave I had zero paid time off and 3 months of unpaid leave, but they would work with you if you needed more time. So high to me and could be low to somebody else.

My company offers 4 months maternity and 2 months paternity. Like others posted, “low” is about perspective because there are small companies that don’t offer any.
