Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Hi everyone Google ,
I am facing interview trouble.
1. First round of interview has done
2. 2nd was scheduled on 1 july but interviewer did not join. After a few mails to hr and recruitment team one hr replied that they will reschedule it, and asked me for possible dates.
Since then i am waiting for the interview schedule as all of my given dates have been passed. I don't know how to deal with it as I don't want to miss the opportunity.

This job market is just the worst. And what adds insult to injury is that a lot of companies are posting ghost jobs they have no intention of filling. According to some stories I've seen, they think it makes it look like they're doing well, it's a way of creating a good image. The fact that they're wasting everyone's time just doesn't matter to them.
It's hard for me to distinguish some do give me the scammed vibe I 🤔
I too was looking for just about a year. Thank goodness for DoorDash to keep me afloat. But, the one thing I learned, I went the old fashioned route. I would personally hand my resume in to HR. At least that way I could talk to a real person instead of a computer or email. Once I saw the person in the flesh I could briefly tell them about myself and then get their business card so I could hound them about the job. It may not have been the best but, it did get me an interview that day and a few days later they offered me the job. Keep trying and don’t get discouraged.
The job market is saturated by candidates that are looking to move up. The easiest jobs to acquire are the lowest paid jobs.
My favorite is when a company, I have thoroughly researched, says "why are you here, plenty of opportunities out there with your experience"--thought are overqualified. I always honestly tell them, I am looking for the best company fit, not just a job.
It's all part of it, but just keep applying. I don't think I would have done 10 applications for 1 company, because personally I would have stopped after the 1st time and applied for other jobs, since to me it would have made no sense to fill out more than 1 for 1 company ?
OP I believe it. I have friends that have been applying for jobs for over a year and can't seem to find anything. I would suggest trying to network for referrals as sometimes a referral can make a difference. It seems like you have to apply to thousands of jobs these days just to finally land something.
Apply at Ups Gotta learn something on top of that previous experience job Or Try temp companies
Hopefully you have tried to leverage recruiters, this will increase your efforts 4x
Unfortunately too, recruiters can be a big waste of time
