I need some advice so I have been at this job for close to two years now and been a Third Key Manager for over a year. Now I've stressed how much I would like an Assistant Store Manager position but I just keep getting told just keep selling but because my SM and ASM probably aren't going anywhere and the other store is a very unhealthy work environment I feel stuck in my position no matter how much I want an ASM spot. How would you handle this scenario?

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…
