I am an assistant Manager to a Manager who constantly makes out that he is the only one who can do stuff.
having never used the programs the company uses before, I ask to be shown how to use them with guidance once I start doing particulars he complained about being the only one able to do it.
has only ever shown me once. ask him to show me again and let me do some with him checking them before I finalise them. his response is always it quicker if I do it. TBC

How did you give notice you were lateraling to people you like? Particularly if you haven't been there that long?

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

What are your tips on convincing a fellow employee not to switch agencies? I really don't want to compete with them

What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? It's about the time where everyone on my team requests feedback from each other and I'm nervous for it coming up. My manager knows that everything I've worked w her on I end up doing 90% of the work when it's meant to be split so it is a known issue. We're both at level 3 so are genuinely peers. She seems like a nice person but i have 0 positive work feedback tbh

Hi all, How do you deal with having a good relationship with an ex-colleague, and then that person switches jobs, becomes a hiring manager, is hiring for a position you’re perfect for (experience + credentials) and then you reach out to them saying you’re interested and why it would be a good idea - and then they completely ghost you..I also sent an application via the website and got rejected.
