Come prepared, and if you’re not, fake it until you make it!
Come prepared. Period. Fake it until you make it is weak advice from hack salespeople that gives good salespeople a bad name. If you're not prepared, don't have the meeting.
My advise is to always listen and ask the right questions. Put yourself in a position of learning from them and ready to create solutions. You are not there to level up you are there to help them succeed more
Great!
I think you're already on the right track when you say, "I know my product". Continue to be an expert on your product. The C-level will most likely know very little about your product. Come prepared with use cases and stories of how other organizations are utilizing your solution and not just feature/function.
Good advice! Never hurts to come overprepared
Research on how your solution has impacted similar industries and what problems you solved
Thank you
Have posture... believe in your products or services with passion...
Appreciate the feedback!
I would advise not discussing product at all. Suggest discussing the unique insight you bring to the top three challenges the industry and the specific person is facing. Yes. Have specific examples in story format with evidence on how you’ve helped those challenges in terms of revenue, costs , risks. You’ll get nowhere discussing product up front.
Thank you, helpful!
